# SNITCH: The chain talks. SNITCH listens.

A wallet can tell you what it holds at a particular moment. A transaction can
tell you what the network executed. Neither automatically tells you who owns
the wallet, why funds moved, or whether the movement was a sale.

SNITCH is built around that distinction. Its informant character carries case
files, not verdicts. The product is a read-only Solana desk for following public
addresses, comparing observed balances and inspecting source transactions.

## Open a case

Each case starts with a public address. You can name it, optionally select a
token mint, choose a check interval and select the direction of balance changes
you want recorded. No wallet connection or signing permission is required.

The first scan establishes a baseline. Subsequent scans compare exact integer
balances. A selected mint narrows the token inventory and adds up to four of
that mint's current token accounts to the history lookup. SOL remains visible.

The desk reads classic SPL and Token-2022 account inventories through the Solana
RPC. These are public records, not price valuations or endorsements. Balances
from different calls are observed separately, not as one atomic chain snapshot.

## Follow a record

Recent history shows bounded finalized signatures. Opening a record retrieves
its transaction body and inspects parsed System Program and SPL transfer
instructions, including inner instructions. Source and destination accounts,
mint, instruction amount, fee and subject net SOL change are kept distinct.

Failed transactions do not produce executed transfer entries. Unavailable
records stay unavailable. Other program activity is not guessed into a buy,
sell, rug pull or person-to-person payment.

Token-2022 instruction amounts can differ from the recipient's net balance
change. SOL deltas can include network fees and account rent. The linked
explorer record remains available for the wider transaction context.

## Know the window

The current public desk checks while its browser tab is open and visible.
Browser notifications require explicit permission and are session-scoped.
Browser sleep, hidden tabs and network failures interrupt monitoring. This is
not a continuously deployed background alert service.

History is limited to the most recent 15 signatures per covered address and
30 merged records. Wallet-address history does not capture all incoming token
account activity. Closed or additional token accounts may fall outside the
lookup. Transfers can occur between scans without changing the final balance.

These are boundaries of an observation window, not evidence of inactivity.

## Keep the file

Up to 12 cases and 150 balance changes per case are stored locally. Exported
JSON preserves the observation and source references. A SHA-256 fingerprint
helps identify the serialized observation; it is not an on-chain attestation
or a guarantee that an edited export is authentic.

Import accepts configuration only and leaves cases paused. It does not promote
an imported story into verified chain evidence. Browser storage is not an
encrypted backup; clear it and the local files are gone unless exported.

## An agent with boundaries

The public product uses deterministic monitoring and transaction decoding.
An optional eve research agent is included in the source, with only two typed
read tools and no shell, signing, transfer or arbitrary web-fetch capability.
It requires separate authenticated deployment and model configuration; it is
not advertised as an active public LLM in this release.

SNITCH is independent, unaudited software. No token allocation, airdrop, yield,
trade execution or official Pump.fun affiliation is promised. Its useful work
starts with a public address and ends with evidence you can inspect.

Movement is a fact. Motive is a question.

SNITCH.
